About
Password Depot Enterprise Server 19 lets organizations store password databases on a server and share them with authorized users through Password Depot clients. The service can run on a computer inside a local network or be hosted in Microsoft Azure, while its primary desktop client connects to the Enterprise Server on Windows.
Administrators control the service in the separate Server Manager, where they create databases, add users and groups, assign databases, and grant access to an entire database or only selected sections. Permissions can differ within one database, so each person sees and edits only the content allowed by their assigned rights. Authorized users can open and change server databases through supported client applications.
A connection uses the server address, port, username, and password, with authentication available through local credentials, Integrated Windows Authentication with single sign-on, or Azure AD/OIDC Authentication. Administrators can configure SSL certificates, two-factor authentication, event notifications, and global server policies for the service. Alongside the main Windows client, the shared databases can be accessed through the macOS edition, Android and iOS apps, or a web interface.
Version 19.2.3 is the x64 Windows release and suits businesses managing shared credentials across teams, offices, or cloud-hosted environments. This update fixes an error that could appear when closing Server Manager on older Windows versions, resolves a sporadic client-disconnection error recorded in network.log and the audit trail, and includes various text and interface corrections.
