Select an object on a PDF page or choose it from a navigable tree to inspect, edit, or delete that individual element. PDF Inspector parses each page’s content stream and presents text blocks, vector paths, and images in the order used to draw the page. Selecting an item highlights it in both the rendered page and the tree, while entries can show readable labels or content-stream operators for technical inspection.

Move or resize selected elements, change fill and stroke colors using hexadecimal values, and view their color space. Text can be retyped in place, including with a fallback font supplied with the app, available on the device, or imported by the user; undo and redo are supported. Deleting an element rewrites the relevant part of the page content stream while leaving the rest unchanged.

Edited documents are saved as new PDF files through Android’s system file picker, so the original remains unmodified. Panning, pinch-to-zoom, page fitting, a global zoom level, and full-screen viewing support document work and inspection. Version 0.3.2 improves inline text editing and adds more fonts; PDF Inspector runs on Android 8.0 or later.
