Shosetsu2.5.3-fdroid

Shosetsu lets readers discover and read novels through configurable extensions, with controls that can be adjusted to different reading preferences. Readers can follow novels and use update tracking to see when new chapters become available. Reading progress can be backed up, while QR codes provide a way to share novels with another reader.

Its interface supports Material You theming, so its appearance can adapt to Android’s design system. The reader can be expanded through modifiable source collections that supply additional extensions. Shosetsu does not host the novels accessed through those sources and does not claim copyright ownership of the works they provide.

The application suits people who read serialized fiction and want one place to manage ongoing stories, check for chapters, and preserve progress between devices or installations. It is also useful when sharing a particular novel through a QR code or tailoring the reading interface to personal preferences. Shosetsu is open-source and runs on Android 5.1 or newer, with arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 builds supported. The current version is 2.5.3-fdroid.
