Pirate Solitaire

Pirate Solitaire is a digital solitaire card game for Android devices. It is intended for players who want a straightforward solitaire experience with an in-game explanation of its rules. The project is released as open-source software and belongs to the Games category on MirrorNest. Its presentation and mechanics place it within the digital card-game portion of the Android catalog.

A built-in tutorial explains how to play the solitaire rules before or during play. The game contains no advertisements, and separate volume controls let players adjust its sound effects and music. A win counter records the player's victories over time. Victor Pernet handled the programming, art, sound design, and game design, while Nans de Jesus created the music and victory jingle.

Pirate Solitaire was made with the Godot Game Engine and is also available as a Windows application and a browser version that works on mobile and desktop devices. These versions provide other ways to play the same solitaire project beyond its Android release. MirrorNest distributes the official build by mirroring it directly onto its own storage. The mirrored build is scanned for malware before publication, giving Android users a catalog copy of the official build that has been checked as part of the publishing process.
