PlaybackFile streams data from a supported LabChart file so LabChart can receive it as though an attached recording device were supplying it live. It lets users work from recordings already saved instead of capturing new data during each session. The result is a device-style input for workflows built around incoming data.

The add-on handles native LabChart files and imported formats that LabChart supports, including EDF and WAV. During playback, it presents recorded material as a live-like stream, allowing stored data to follow a workflow designed for incoming device data.
