About
Download individual podcast episodes with podium (Podcasts) for offline listening, or turn on automatic downloads so newly released episodes are retrieved as they appear. The app lets listeners manage their podcast library by creating separate lists for podcasts or individual episodes.
Its Discover tab helps users find new shows through Apple Podcasts, while Android Auto support brings podcast listening into compatible in-car setups. Subscriptions and play states can be synchronized with gpodder.net or nextcloud-gpodder, keeping listening progress and followed shows aligned across supported services.
Written in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose, podium uses Material 3 Expressive design for a contemporary Android interface. It is aimed at podcast listeners who want to organize shows, prepare episodes for offline travel, or continue listening from the car. The project is still work in progress, so it remains incomplete in some areas and may contain bugs; users can suggest missing features through the project’s issue tracker.
The current 1.0.0-alpha08 release fixes handling for non-standard iTunes:duration values.

What's new in v1.0.0-alpha09
- Fixed podcasts sometimes being duplicated when syncing with gpodder.net or nextcloud-gpodder.
- Fixed playback breaking after the app and its service got killed by the system (#63).
- Fixed the country search field allowing line breaks, so pressing Enter didn't confirm the search (#46).
