Politrics1.0.1

Arrange dark or light figures across a chess-inspired board, choosing moves and captures that build points while blocking the opposing side. Politrics is a tactical Android board game in which the immediate target is 100 points, the maximum score on one board, with points from multiple boards contributing to the final victory.

A board can be settled by forming five safe figures in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line, capturing the opponent’s President and scoring according to your highest-value combination, or leaving the opponent with too few figures to make a five-figure line. Play takes place on an 81-square 9x9 grid, with the inner 7x7 area serving as the active field. Blue-shaded scoring squares award from 1 to 6 points, while red-shaded squares mark retirement spaces. Each side commands 17 figures, and every figure has its own movement and capture rules; placing figures on scoring squares matters, especially because the center square multiplies the points earned.

It suits players who enjoy turn-based tactical contests, including head-to-head sessions focused on positioning, calculated captures, and multi-board scoring. Version 1.0.1 runs on Android 7.1 or newer, uses a universal architecture, and is released as open-source software.
