About
PoseCalib displays overlays marking target poses while you work with a camera, helping you adopt the positions needed for calibration. It turns the required pose sequence into an interactive visual reference instead of leaving the operator to judge each camera position unaided. This supports both performing a calibration and learning how an interactive camera-calibration procedure is carried out.
The application implements the approach described in Efficient Pose Selection for Interactive Camera Calibration. That work was created by Pavel Rojtberg and Arjan Kuijper and presented at the 2018 IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality. Pavel Rojtberg develops and publishes PoseCalib as an open-source application in the Education category. Its official distribution is tied to the official build.
PoseCalib runs on Linux with snapd and targets x86_64, also called amd64, systems. This permission step is part of preparing the application for camera-guided calibration work. The current version is 18.10.
Requires Linux + snapd · Architecture: x86_64 (amd64)
