Profit Communication Center 82.9.1400.801

Profit Communication Center 8 lets you submit files from a local Windows computer to Profit, then open and edit those files in Microsoft Office while working within Profit. It connects the Profit environment with locally installed Microsoft Office applications, so documents can move between the business system and the computer’s normal file workflow. PCC functions as an integration component rather than as an office suite or an independent file editor.

Users can select local files for inclusion in Profit and use Office to work on Profit-related files stored or accessed through that environment. It is intended for employees who manage documents locally as part of their Profit processes, such as preparing, revising, or filing office documents.

Published by AFAS Software, this Windows System Tools component is an x64 application, currently at version 2.9.1400.801. A locally installed Microsoft Office environment and access to Profit are needed for its file-handling functions. The PCC versions made for Profit 6 and Profit 7 can also be used with Profit 8, while the Profit 8 PCC can be used with Profit 7.

The Profit 8 edition is available through Profit or InSite, and users authorized to make installations or changes on their computers can update PCC themselves. Its main distinction is the direct handoff between Profit records and desktop Office applications, keeping local editing inside an existing Profit workflow.
