About

Qnotero lets you quickly locate references held in Zotero while working with educational or research material. It acts as a standalone sidekick to Zotero, concentrating on finding existing entries rather than maintaining a separate reference collection. You can search by author, publication year, or DOI, using familiar bibliographic details to reach a particular citation.

Students, educators, researchers, and other Zotero users can use it as a focused reference lookup utility during reading, writing, and source checking. Its narrow purpose is consulting stored references, rather than creating or describing an independent bibliography.

Developed by E. Albiter, Qnotero 2.3.1 is open-source Education software for Linux on x86_64 (amd64) systems. It requires snapd in addition to the operating system, and Zotero serves as the companion reference manager containing the material Qnotero searches.

Requires Linux + snapd · Architecture: x86_64 (amd64)
