RailTrip turns movement between train stations into a stamp-collecting exploration game, letting you fill a travel visa as you visit stations. Its long-term goal is to discover every station around the world, giving ordinary journeys a playful sense of progress.

The app currently covers many urban transport networks and stations in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, and Ireland. It suits travelers exploring unfamiliar cities, residents mapping their local network, and anyone who enjoys collecting location-based achievements while riding trains or urban rail. If a desired city is absent, users can email a request for its inclusion in a future update. Privacy-conscious travelers can also use it knowing that information about stamped stations remains on their device.

RailTrip 1.6.5 runs on Android 5.0 and later, uses a universal architecture, and is open-source software in the Navigation & Travel category. This release adds an Italian translation and stations in Italy, expands tramway coverage in Vienna, Linz, Gmunden, Graz, and Innsbruck, and updates the Metro do Porto network. The app’s logo uses icons from Font Awesome.
