Revelation1.0.7.172

Read the Book of Revelation through a study app that places its text in an early linguistic and historical context. Revelation helps Christians examine the book before later translation choices and interpretive traditions shape their understanding. It is intended for readers from different Christian denominations and does not presume shared doctrines, customs, cultural backgrounds, generations, or Bible translations.

The study begins with wording kept as close as possible to the book’s original language and period. Its principal textual materials are papyri and uncials containing Revelation in its original language. This source-based approach gives users a way to investigate the text itself while considering how more than two thousand years of religious and cultural history have influenced its interpretation.

The program suits personal Bible study, comparative religious research, and structured reading by anyone seeking to understand Revelation across denominational boundaries. Revelation is open-source educational software for Linux, developed by Oleh Karnaukhov. Version 1.0.7.172 requires Linux with snapd and runs on x86_64 (amd64) architecture.
