RPG NPC Generator

RPG NPC Generator is an open-source Android application in the Games category. It creates non-player characters for tabletop role-playing games, helping Dungeon Masters prepare individuals such as innkeepers, mysterious strangers, or groups of townsfolk. The tool is intended for situations where a believable character is needed without creating every detail manually.

A single tap can generate a character with a name, nickname, race, age, gender, profession, alignment, sexuality, motivation, languages, and personality traits. Users can re-roll one field with a die while keeping the rest of the character, or randomize the entire character at once. This supports both focused revisions and complete new generations.

NPCs that are worth keeping can be saved and browsed later. Every detail can be edited, and users can add a portrait and their own notes to each character. The app uses a clean Material 3 interface with light and dark themes, and it is available in English and Portuguese.

The open-source license allows the app’s source to be available for inspection and use under that license. RPG NPC Generator is distributed through MirrorNest as the official build mirrored directly onto MirrorNest storage. MirrorNest scans the build for malware before publishing it, providing a catalog download that remains tied to the official release. The app is supported by ads, which can be removed for a week at any time by watching a short video.
