SchildiChat Legacy1.6.66.sc93

Connect to Matrix conversations from an Android phone with SchildiChat Legacy, a client built for decentralized modern messaging. Matrix allows conversations to use end-to-end encryption and keeps shared message history available across multiple devices. This lets people participate in the same chats while using Matrix’s distributed approach rather than relying on one central service.

Its foundation is the Element app, so SchildiChat Legacy carries over the extensive capabilities associated with that established Matrix client. It adds its own visual design instead of simply reproducing Element’s interface. Additional tweaks, customization options, and community-oriented features give users more ways to shape the messaging experience and interact within their Matrix communities.

SchildiChat Legacy is suited to Matrix users who want a mobile client for everyday conversations, encrypted communication, and access to rooms from more than one device. It can also serve communities that value decentralized messaging and want extra interface or behavior choices beyond the underlying Element experience. The software runs on Android and is open-source, with its development available through the SchildiChat Android project.
