Seanime Desktop lets you watch anime, read manga, and organize a local media library from one media server with a desktop app and web interface. It brings personal anime and manga content into a single system, helping users manage their collection instead of switching between separate viewing, reading, and library tools. Library management keeps local media arranged within the application, while transcoding adapts media for playback.

The program supports downloading and streaming through BitTorrent or Debrid services, giving users multiple ways to access content associated with their library. Offline viewing allows supported content to remain available when there is no active connection. The web interface works alongside the desktop client, so the same media-server setup can be accessed from a browser as well as the application.
