Sensor Spot1.16.0

Sensor Spot sends live readings from an Android device to an MQTT broker, allowing connected systems to receive sensor data as the device produces it. It connects a device’s built-in sensors with IoT projects, dashboards, and real-time analytics, turning the device into a continuously updating data source.

Users choose which available sensors to include in each publishing session, with the accelerometer and gyroscope among the supported examples. Configuration covers the MQTT server address, port, credentials, destination topics, and quality-of-service setting. After these options are set, the app publishes readings from the selected sensors to the specified MQTT topics. Its combination of per-sensor selection and broker-specific settings lets it work across different MQTT arrangements while concentrating on live sensor transmission.

Sensor Spot suits developers, makers, and operators who need motion or other device-sensor data in an IoT pipeline, dashboard, or analysis service. It uses internet-based MQTT messaging to carry those readings from an Android device to connected systems. The app runs on Android 6.0 or later and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures. It is open-source, and the current release is version 1.16.0.
