SolitaireCG

SolitaireCG is an open-source solitaire game for Android. It provides a collection of card games that can be played on Android devices, including Forty Thieves, Freecell, Double Freecell with two decks, Baker’s Game, Golf, Klondike, Vegas Solitaire, Spider, Tarantula, Black Widow, and TriPeaks. It is intended for players who want several traditional solitaire variations in one Android game.

The game supports undoing multiple earlier moves, allowing players to review decisions made during a session. Animated card movement shows changes on the table as cards are played. Statistics and score tracking let players examine results after a game. An option for larger card artwork improves visibility on larger, higher-resolution Android screens, while portrait mode supports that device orientation.

The game includes different rule sets across its variations. Klondike supports unlimited passes with one-card or three-card deals, while Vegas Solitaire permits one pass with either deal size. Spider uses four suits, Tarantula uses two suits, and Black Widow uses one suit; Golf and TriPeaks use rules with no build on a king and wrap cards. Freecell builds by alternate color, and Baker’s Game builds by suit.

SolitaireCG fixes bugs in the original Ken Magic solitaire-for-Android code, adds games, and enables card dealing and playability in Spider. Its open-source licensing makes the source available under that licensing model, and its Android packaging places it in the Games category. MirrorNest mirrors the official build directly on its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing.
