Space5.3.0

Turn a PDF, article, or photo into structured flashcards in seconds with Space’s AI, which extracts key concepts and prepares them for active recall. You can also build cards manually, adding text formatting and images to suit the material. During study sessions, Space presents retrieval prompts instead of passive rereading and schedules each review around your expected forgetting point.

Its FSRS-6 scheduler models your personal forgetting curve and adjusts review intervals as your performance changes. When a concept causes trouble, contextual AI explanations appear within the study session, while follow-up questions help you investigate connections between ideas. Flashcards can be shared so people can create, review, and improve them together.

Space targets students, professionals, and other serious learners who want lasting recall from books, articles, course materials, or photographed pages. Native apps run on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux, with a Web version planned; the apps support offline study.

The current version is 5.3.0. Its Linux edition is the relevant choice for Linux users, while cross-device access lets the same learning practice continue across the supported desktop and mobile platforms.
