About
SpikeHistogram detects extracellular neural spike activity as it is recorded and produces analysis for immediate examination. Its discrimination controls separate recorded spike events so they can be examined individually within the recording workflow. After a session, users can reanalyze the stored spikes offline with modified discrimination settings. This lets researchers revisit recordings and assess how different discrimination criteria change the treatment of detected events instead of relying solely on the original setup.
The module is intended for neurophysiology work involving recorded neural signals where spike activity must be assessed as it occurs. It fits experiments that require online detection and analysis during acquisition, followed by offline review when spike classifications or discrimination settings need refinement. Histogram views support this examination by presenting the analyzed spike activity during sampling.
SpikeHistogram is a System Tools module from ADInstruments for Windows, using x86 architecture. The current version is 2.6.3400, which fixes several crashes that could occur while sampling with Analyze while sampling enabled. It also resolves incorrect analysis displayed in histogram views during sampling.
Architecture: x86
What's new in v2.6.3400
- Fixed various crashes that could occur while sampling when Analyze while sampling is enabled.
- Fixed an issue where histogram views would show incorrect analysis while sampling.
