Super Retro Mega Wars lets players compete in different retro-style games at the same time, with each person choosing a game rather than sharing one identical board. Points earned in your own game affect the difficulty faced by everyone else, turning separate scores into a shared battle. A strong performance can handicap opponents, while their scoring can make your own game harder in return.

It offers six single-player and multiplayer variants inspired by classic retro titles, playable in any combination and designed for real-time matches with friends. Each variant uses its own handicap system, so familiar arcade mechanics become part of a broader tactical contest. The game contains no advertisements or in-game purchases, and further game versions are planned.

It suits retro enthusiasts and multiplayer groups looking for unusual local or connected competitions, while developers can inspect, fork, or improve its open-source Android code; server-running documentation is provided through the retrowars-server project. The app is built with libGDX and Kotlin, and its graphics, music, and other assets carry their own free-license details in the project.

Version 0.32.5 runs on Android for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 devices, and its interface has not been tested across multiple screen sizes. This release adds Czech translation, refreshes several existing translations, and raises the target SDK; translation contributions are coordinated through Weblate, with some completed languages requiring a later code change before activation.
