Telegram Desktop7.4.0

Send and receive Telegram messages from a Windows computer, keeping desktop conversations connected to the service’s cloud-based messaging system. Telegram Desktop lets people continue exchanges across desktop and mobile devices instead of restricting communication to a phone. Its design emphasizes quick message delivery and security for everyday personal and work-related conversations.

The application suits anyone who communicates through Telegram while typing on a full-size keyboard, reading messages on a larger screen, or moving between a computer and a mobile device. It provides a dedicated desktop setting for composing and answering messages, while the cloud-based service keeps the messaging experience available across the supported clients. Telegram FZ-LLC develops and publishes the software as communication software for Windows.

The current release is version 7.4.0 and targets x64 systems. It is distributed under an open-source license, so its licensing model differs from closed-source desktop messaging programs. Before installation, users should have a Windows computer with the x64 architecture. This release fixes some incorrect renderings produced by tlottie, improving the display of affected animated content.
