Telegraph keeps electrophysiological data displayed at the correct scale when an amplifier’s gain changes by reading the amplifier’s gain-telegraph output. That output carries the gain information the extension needs to account for altered amplifier settings while data is being viewed or handled. As the gain changes, Telegraph supports continued display using the appropriate scale rather than leaving the data tied to the previous setting.

Users work with Telegraph alongside an electrophysiological amplifier in workflows where gain adjustments can occur during data handling or viewing. The extension reads the gain-related signal supplied by the amplifier and applies that information to the displayed data, keeping its on-screen interpretation aligned with the current gain. It is intended for users whose electrophysiology workflows depend on display scaling that follows amplifier settings.

Current version 1.3.0400 adds support for the Nihon Kohden CEZ-5100, extending the devices available for this workflow. The release also updates the help-button icon and includes various other enhancements and changes.
