TU Darmstadt Moodle Wrapper1.2

TU Darmstadt Moodle Wrapper sends supported TU Darmstadt Moodle links to the official Moodle app rather than opening them in the phone’s browser. It addresses the friction of following course pages, forum posts, and other Moodle content linked from emails read on an Android phone.

The wrapper recognizes HTTPS links for moodle.tu-darmstadt.de, moodle.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de, and vorkurs.mathematik.tu-darmstadt.de/moodlevorkurs. It also handles wwwdid.mathematik.tu-darmstadt.de/moodle, moodle-exam.tu-darmstadt.de, and moodle.chor.tu-darmstadt.de. The app has no home-screen icon because it operates through supported links; removal is available under System Settings, Apps, by searching for “TU Darmstadt Moodle Wrapper.”

This open-source Internet & Browsers application is an independent project started by a TU Darmstadt student, not an official TU Darmstadt or Moodle project. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow or later, uses a universal architecture, and requires the official Moodle app version 2 or newer as its companion software. It suits students and other Moodle users who regularly open university links from email or other phone content.

Version 1.2 corrects a typo in the Moodle Exam setup and adds support for the TU Darmstadt choir’s Moodle at moodle.chor.tu-darmstadt.de. Users can suggest other TU Darmstadt Moodle addresses for possible inclusion.
