Tumblr Downloader1.0.7

Save images and videos from individual Tumblr posts to local storage with Tumblr Downloader, instead of leaving them available only inside the service. It accepts a Tumblr URL, detects a Tumblr address copied to the clipboard, and can receive a post or link shared from another app. The app suits people archiving media from posts or preparing it for viewing outside Tumblr.

A built-in WebView login provides access to private or restricted posts, while persistent cookies preserve the session after the app restarts. Media jobs are organized in a queue with pause, resume, and retry controls, and the app automatically pauses them when the network connection is lost. Download history is stored in a Room database, and an integrated viewer opens saved images and videos.

Users can select a custom save directory through Android’s Storage Access Framework, while adult-content detection and filtering help manage that type of media. English and Chinese language support, a Material Design 3 interface, and dark mode cover everyday use across supported devices. Login credentials are kept locally through Android Keystore, and known third-party tracking domains are blocked during WebView authentication; the app contains no analytics, tracking, or ads.

Version 1.0.7 runs on Android 11 or later with Universal architecture. Tumblr Downloader is open-source under the MIT license, making its implementation available for inspection and reuse.
