Url forwarder

Url forwarder is an open-source Android application in the Internet & Browsers category. It provides bookmarklet-style URL forwarding through the Android sharing workflow. Instead of manually copying a page address, a user can share a link from another app and select Url forwarder.

The application uses filters to determine where a shared URL should be sent. A filter connects a source URL pattern or site with another site that the user wants to open or use. For example, a page from one website can be passed to a different website by choosing the corresponding filter from the share menu.

Available filters are shown in a dialog when the application receives a shared link. Selecting a filter opens an app that has an intent filter matching the URL specified by that filter. In typical use, that destination is a browser, although the receiving app depends on the URL handling supported on the Android device.
