WiGLE WiFi Wardriving FOSS

WiGLE WiFi Wardriving FOSS is an open-source Android application for finding, displaying, and mapping wireless networks and cell towers. It presents discovered networks on a real-time map based on OpenStreetMap. The application can be used to view network and tower locations in different places around the world.

The app keeps a local database to track newly found networks. It can export collected information as CSV files to an SD card for use as comma-separated data. It can also export KML files to an SD card for importing into Google Maps or Google Earth.

Audio alerts and text-to-speech provide spoken or audible notifications while the app is being used. A Mute button can immediately turn off all sound and speech. Bluetooth GPS devices are supported through mock locations, and the app can be moved to an SD card.

WiGLE WiFi Wardriving FOSS is listed in the Internet & Browsers category for Android. It can optionally upload information to the wigle.net database, subject to the applicable EULA. MirrorNest distributes the official build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing.
