Wordwyrm records the books you have read and the dates you finished them, giving you a lasting personal reading history. You can add a title manually or find it through the app’s book search, then attach your own notes to the entry. A timeline view shows how your reading has changed over time.

The program stores your information as YAML files and JPG images inside author-specific directories. You choose where those directories live, keeping the underlying collection under your control and making it possible to edit the files directly. For use across devices, the data can reside on OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or a shared directory accessed through Samba. Its file-based structure also lets you revise the records or move them into another application.

The cross-platform desktop design suits individual readers, study-related reading logs, and anyone maintaining a personal library across more than one computer.
