About
Keep programming references on your Linux computer and open them even when an internet connection is unavailable with Zeal. It serves as an offline documentation browser, giving learners and software users a local place to consult material during study or development. You can build a personal library from docsets covering major programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
Zeal accepts docsets in the same format used by Dash, allowing related reference collections to live together in one library. Its instant search takes you directly to relevant pages, while results can open in tabs for comparing or retaining several references at once. A global keyboard shortcut summons the browser from anywhere, making a quick consultation available during other work.
Independent learners, developers, and people working with technical documentation can use Zeal for coding, study, and other situations that benefit from local references. The program is published by Oleg Shparber and is open-source. Version 0.9.2 runs on Linux with snapd on x86_64 (amd64) systems.
Requires Linux + snapd · Architecture: x86_64 (amd64)
