About
Play 500 with computer opponents or friends online while bidding for tricks, selecting contracts and trumps, and guiding a partnership toward 500 points. The game follows the Australian and New Zealand trick-taking rules, making it useful both for newcomers learning the game and for experienced players looking for a digital table.
Each deal uses a 43-card deck with the Joker and both bowers, along with a three-card kitty. Bidding covers six through ten tricks in each suit and no-trumps, plus Misère and Open Misère contracts. Four-player partnerships, two-player head-to-head matches, and six-player games with either two teams of three or three teams of two are supported, while a score sheet tracks every contract and hand score until one side reaches 500.
You can play offline against AI opponents without an account or network connection, or create and join online rooms using a short code, including games between Android and web players. Empty seats can be assigned to bots, disconnected players have a bot cover their hand temporarily, and the game can connect to a server chosen by the player. An interactive tutorial demonstrates bidding, discarding, and trick play with a dealt hand; completed tricks can stay visible, and adjustable pacing helps learners count cards. House-rule options can turn off Misère or no-trumps bidding.
Version 0.6.5 adds a white dealer “D” beside the dealer’s name or by the sort toggle, and dealt cards now land directly in their final hand positions. It targets Android 16, runs on Android 7.0 or later for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 devices, and is open-source and free to use.
Requires Android 7.0+ · Architecture: arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, x86
What's new in v0.6.5
A dealer button and smoother dealing: • A white D marks who dealt — beside their name, or by your sort toggle when it's your deal. The tutorial explains it • Dealt cards now land exactly where your hand will sit, so nothing jumps when they flip • Game-over and hand-result dialogs keep their buttons on screen on short screens; rotating no longer brings back a dismissed result • Targets Android 16
