Adapta Theme Colorpack for Snaps3.94.0.149

Give snapped GTK applications access to the Adapta visual style by supplying their GTK theme files through a dedicated snap. Adapta Theme Colorpack for Snaps, published by Genadi Naydenov, brings Adapta’s Material Design theme to GNOME and other GTK-based desktop environments in a form that snapped software can use. Its focus is the boundary between desktop appearance settings and applications distributed as snaps, where ordinary theme files may not be visible.

To use it with one application, connect that application’s gtk-3-themes plug to the colorpack’s gtk-3-themes interface through snapd. Users can also connect every matching gtk-3-themes endpoint belonging to applications that expose plugs through gtk-common-themes, allowing the theme to cover multiple snapped programs at once. The colorpack is based on Tista500’s adapta-gtk-theme and includes icon artwork created by Sam Hewitt under CC-SA-4.0 terms.

It is suited to GNOME or GTK desktop users who want snapped applications to share an Adapta-based appearance rather than fall back to a separate default style. The open-source System Tools package runs on Linux with snapd and supports x86_64 (amd64) systems. Version 3.94.0.149 provides the colorpack in snap form for applications that use the relevant GTK theme connections.
