AndBible: Bible Study5.1.1117

Read Bible passages offline, compare translations, follow references, and build personal study notes from one Android workspace. AndBible: Bible Study serves both casual readers and people pursuing detailed individual study, with commentaries, bookmarks, notes, and AI tools gathered around the text. Its Reading & Writing features also suit sermon listening, scheduled reading, verse memorization, and study that must continue without a constant internet connection.

The app includes Bible versions such as KJV, NASB, and NET, plus commentaries such as Matthew Henry and John Gill. Split text panels place translations beside commentaries, while Strong’s integration helps examine Greek and Hebrew words. Cross-references, footnotes, commentaries, and reference collections are linked for direct movement between related material.

Full-text search can cover one translation or several at once, and bookmarks, highlights, and notes preserve discoveries for later use. Study Pads collect notes and Bible references while a sermon is playing; reading goals, progress tracking, interactive memorization modes, and text-to-speech support different study habits. Workspaces hold separate study arrangements and settings, while My Documents adds editable pages that can be synchronized across devices.

The optional AI study agent can use installed commentaries and dictionaries, including through services such as Gemini, Claude, or OpenRouter, when the user supplies an API key for an external service; permissions control what the agent may do. Version 5.1.1117 includes bug fixes, and the 5.1 release introduced the AI assistant, progress tracking, My Documents, and three-level inheritance for text-display settings. This open-source Android software requires Android 6.0 or later and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures.
