AniFX (WINE)1.0

AniFX (WINE) lets you edit cursor artwork, convert images into cursors, and produce animated cursor files on Linux. It supports animated ANI cursors and can also create animated GIF files, making it useful for both desktop interface assets and small graphic animations. Images can be imported and exported, while cursor libraries can be assembled for organizing multiple designs. The editor can also add, modify, or remove cursors within EXE files.

Editing tools include transparency through an alpha channel, Brighten/Darken, Blur/Sharpen, and Transparent operations, along with more than 40 effects and a custom filter. Artwork can reach resolutions of up to 256x256 and use 2-color, 16-color, 256-color, True Color, or True Color with Alpha data types. Batch processing handles cursor import, export, and extraction tasks, and multiple language support broadens its usefulness for different users.

AniFX (WINE) suits designers creating interface cursors, developers packaging cursor resources, and users maintaining animated or library-based cursor collections. Its current version is 1.0, published by Taqi Raza, and the available Linux build has not been updated recently, so it may be unmaintained and could have stability or security issues. It is open-source software that requires Linux with snapd and targets x86_64 (amd64) systems.
