AVTouchBar3.0.7

AVTouchBar places an audio visualizer on a Mac’s Touch Bar, giving listeners a live visual representation of sound on the narrow strip above the keyboard. It is designed for watching changing audio activity while music or other audio plays, without reserving the main display for a separate visualization window. The result is a compact way to add visual feedback to everyday listening on a compatible Mac.

Its defining capability is the Touch Bar presentation itself, rather than a conventional full-screen or desktop visualizer. The display makes AVTouchBar a natural fit for listeners who enjoy pairing audio playback with an immediate visual response, as well as Mac users who want a small ambient display during listening sessions. Its scope is focused on visualizing audio through Apple’s Touch Bar interface.

AVTouchBar is freeware in the Music & Audio category for MacOS, and its free license allows use without a purchase requirement. The current version is 3.0.7,2021,08, with support for both Intel and Apple Silicon architectures. A Mac with a Touch Bar is central to its use, since the program’s visualization is presented on that hardware rather than through a general desktop interface.
