Broadcast Using This Tool1.47.0

Use Broadcast Using This Tool to send a live audio program from a Mac to a Shoutcast or Icecast server, placing the broadcast on an internet radio stream for listeners. The software serves as the connection between the audio setup producing the show and the remote streaming endpoint that distributes it. This addresses the practical task of putting a station or live performance online through established Shoutcast and Icecast infrastructure.

Its central capability is streaming audio to either of those server platforms, allowing a broadcaster to work with the ecosystem already used by the station or hosting provider. The focused design suits internet radio operators, DJs, and presenters who need to transmit a live show from their computer to remote listeners. Typical uses include running a continuous online station, carrying a scheduled DJ set, or sending a one-time live program through a compatible stream server.

Broadcast Using This Tool 1.47.0 is freeware in the Music & Audio category. It runs on macOS and supports both Intel-based Macs and Apple Silicon machines, covering the two main Mac processor families. The application is specifically a Shoutcast and Icecast streaming client, so its usefulness depends on having a broadcast destination based on one of those platforms.
