Farrago2.2.0

Load sound effects, music cues, voice clips, and other audio into Farrago’s triggerable soundboard pads, then play them from your Mac whenever a cue is needed. Its grid keeps clips visible and easy to identify, while separate sound sets let you prepare different collections for a podcast, performance, presentation, or event. Drag-and-drop arrangement, custom labels, colors, and per-sound volume controls help turn a loose folder of recordings into an organized cue board.

Keyboard shortcuts make clips accessible without reaching for the mouse, and playback controls let a sound run once, loop continuously, or stop another clip when the next cue begins. Podcasters can fire intros, stingers, and recorded segments during a live show, while theater crews, broadcasters, musicians, and presenters can use it for effects, transitions, announcements, and backing audio. Several clips can be triggered during the same session, making it practical for layered cues and quick changes between scenes or segments.

Rogue Amoeba’s Farrago 2.2.0 is freeware in the Music & Audio category for macOS, and it runs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later. The release supports both Intel-based Macs and Apple Silicon systems, so the same soundboard workflow covers the two current Mac processor families. Its dedicated clip-grid approach distinguishes it from ordinary media players by putting frequently used audio, labels, and live triggers in one workspace.
