About

Battery Monitor is an open-source Android application for viewing and monitoring battery information. It is designed for people who want regular visibility into battery status, condition-based alerts, and changes recorded over time. In the MirrorNest catalog, it is classified as a System Tools application focused on battery monitoring.

The app can maintain a persistent notification showing the current battery level and status. Users can select additional battery details for that notification, and on Android 16 or newer it can instead appear as a Live Update showing the current battery level or temperature. Configurable alarms can report a full charge, low battery, custom charge thresholds, temperature conditions, and battery health. Home screen widgets provide another way to keep selected battery information visible without opening the app.

Battery Monitor records battery-related events so users can review how battery information changes over time. The history can be filtered and exported as a CSV file for further analysis. Where supported by the device and setup, root access or Shizuku can provide access to advanced battery information, and the app does not collect, store, or transmit personal data.

MirrorNest mirrors the official Battery Monitor build directly on its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing. Its open-source license permits the software to be distributed in that form while allowing readers to identify it as an openly licensed Android tool. The application fits the Android battery category through its combination of status checks, alerts, history review, and battery information display, continuing the classic battery monitoring approach associated with Battery Indicator Pro and BatteryBot Pro.
