BitShares Wallet5.0.210216

BitShares Wallet lets Linux users access the BitShares (BTS) decentralized exchange and work with digital assets through its reference wallet. It brings wallet access into a decentralized trading environment, allowing users to engage with markets connected to the BitShares network.

The wallet supports BitShares stablecoins such as bitUSD and bitCNY. It also supports markets for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Monero when those assets are connected through trusted gateways. Each gateway links an external cryptocurrency to the BitShares exchange, allowing it to participate in the markets available through that connection.

The software suits BitShares users who trade digital assets, use supported stablecoins, or need a Linux-based wallet for decentralized-exchange activity. Developed by svk31, it is released under an open-source license and currently carries version 5.0.210216. It requires Linux with snapd and targets the x86_64 (amd64) architecture as the installable Linux form of the reference wallet.
