De-Bloater

De-Bloater is an open-source Android system tool for users who want to remove unwanted preinstalled system applications. It uses Magisk, Kernel SU, or APatch to make these changes systemlessly rather than directly altering the relevant system files. The app requires root access and a fully functional supported environment, including module support, so it is intended for rooted Android devices rather than general users.

It can target applications in the /system, /vendor, /product, and other directories. Selected applications are removed after a reboot, and the app can restore them individually or restore the de-bloated set as a whole. It also provides smart application suggestions from the UAD-NG project to support the selection process. Its interface includes automatic dark and light themes.

When a user marks applications for removal, De-Bloater creates a Magisk, Kernel SU, or APatch module named De-bloater to replace the selected APKs systemlessly. A restart is required before removals or restorations take effect. The module can be reset from the top menu, while selected applications can also be restored from the second page.
