Remove unwanted preinstalled Android system applications without directly altering their underlying system files by marking them in De-Bloater and applying the change through a supported root environment. It uses Magisk, Kernel SU, or APatch to create a systemless module named De-bloater, replacing selected APKs from locations such as /system, /vendor, /product, and other directories. A reboot is required before removals or restorations take effect.

The app can restore an individual application or bring back the entire de-bloated set, while the top menu provides an option to reset the module. Selected applications can also be restored from the second page. Smart suggestions based on the UAD-NG project help users decide which applications to select, and automatic light and dark themes adjust the interface.

De-Bloater is intended for rooted Android devices with a fully working Magisk, Kernel SU, or APatch environment that supports modules, making it useful for trimming system and vendor software on personal devices. It runs on Android 7.0 or later, uses Universal architecture, and is open-source software in the System Tools category. Version v0.32 adds experimental support for applications in /oem/ and now targets the latest Android releases.
