Domotz Pro Agent

Domotz Pro Agent discovers connected devices, monitors their status, and gives administrators a working view of what is happening across a network. Developed by Domotz, it operates as an agent within the company’s cloud-based network monitoring and management platform. It maintains a device inventory and maps network topology, so users can trace connections and understand the environment during troubleshooting.

Real-time notifications can flag devices going offline, newly connected devices, and deteriorating performance. Administrators can reach equipment remotely through HTTP, SSH, RDP, and Telnet without requiring open ports. The agent also monitors SNMP metrics and TCP services, while traceroute and latency tracking help investigate connectivity and service problems.

Power control is available through PoE switches, PDUs, and Wake-on-LAN, and custom scripts can automate tasks or initiate actions. Configuration management adds facilities for backing up and restoring device configurations. These capabilities suit IT teams, network administrators, and other operators managing business, site, or distributed network infrastructure.

The software runs on Linux systems with snapd and supports the x86_64 (amd64) architecture. It is released under an open-source license, and the broader Domotz service requires a subscription. The current version is 6.3.1-9.8.2-b001-314.
