About
Use EVE Online's launcher to enter its persistent space MMO, choose a character, and begin operating in a player-driven science-fiction universe. The game lets pilots fly customizable spacecraft, earn resources, accept missions, mine, trade, explore, and fight across connected star systems. Players can join corporations, form fleets, compete over territory, and influence an economy shaped by player activity.
It supports both deliberate solo progression and organized cooperation, making it suitable for people who enjoy long-term character development, tactical ship fitting, and emergent multiplayer conflict. On MacOS, the software serves as the entry point for the EVE Online experience rather than as a general-purpose space utility. Its launcher connects players to a game built around persistent activity, from individual ventures to large-scale group operations.
The current release is version 1.17.0 and is distributed as freeware. It requires macOS 12 Monterey or newer and supports computers using either Intel or Apple Silicon architecture.
Requires macOS 12 Monterey+ · Architecture: Intel & Apple Silicon
