About
fkill is an open-source command-line utility for Linux that helps users terminate running processes quickly. It is intended for people who manage processes from a terminal and need a direct way to stop them. As a command-line tool, it fits Linux utility workflows rather than providing a graphical process-management interface.
The software is distributed as a snap package. After installation, users must manually connect the snap to the process-control interface with sudo snap connect fkill:process-control :process-control. They must also connect the system-observe interface using sudo snap connect fkill:system-observe :system-observe. These connections provide the snap with the interfaces required for its process-related operation.
MirrorNest mirrors the official fkill build directly on its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing it. The package is available for the Linux platform in the Utilities category. The snap is maintained by the Snapcrafters community and is not necessarily endorsed or officially maintained by the upstream developers.
