About

FluffyChat Matrix Messenger is an open-source Matrix client for Linux. It is designed for people who use the Matrix network for private conversations, public groups, and channels. Users can exchange text messages, images, files, voice messages, and location information. The application supports unlimited private and public group chats, along with public channels that can include thousands of participants.

Spaces organize related conversations, while public groups can be discovered and joined within the Matrix network. Push notifications can report new activity, and dark mode and Material You offer different interface options. End-to-end encryption, encrypted chat backup, emoji verification, and cross-signing support protected conversations and account verification. QR codes simplify some Matrix identity and verification tasks, while custom emotes and stickers provide additional ways to express messages. Matrix moderation features support the administration of group conversations.

FluffyChat can communicate with Element, Nheko, NeoChat, and other Matrix applications as part of the wider Matrix ecosystem. On MirrorNest, it belongs to the Linux Communication category as a Matrix client. MirrorNest stores the official build directly on its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing it. The open-source license describes its development and use model, while the catalog provides access to the official Linux build.
