Gboard - the Google Keyboard

Gboard lets Android users enter text with a keyboard that combines fast typing with emoji, GIF, and alternative-input tools. Glide Typing forms words by sliding a finger across successive letters, while Voice Typing converts spoken words into text as you compose messages and documents.

Handwriting mode recognizes both cursive and printed letters, and Emoji Search helps locate a specific emoji without browsing through menus. GIF search finds and shares GIFs directly from the keyboard, while Google Translate can translate text during composition. Multilingual typing supplies autocorrection and suggestions for enabled languages without requiring manual language changes.

The keyboard supports hundreds of language varieties, including English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Handwriting, Emoji Search, and GIF search are unavailable on Android Go devices, while Wear OS watches support Glide Typing, Voice Typing, emoji entry, and supported languages. It suits people who write across several languages, dictate messages, use visual reactions, or need handwriting input on compatible devices.

In the current release, Pixel 9 and later devices can create and share custom stickers quickly through Gboard using Pixel Studio, with English, Japanese, and German support in selected countries; a beta version is also available for feedback on upcoming improvements.
