German for AnySoftKeyboard5.1.6158

Add German typing to AnySoftKeyboard by installing this language pack, then choose one of its German keyboard layouts in the keyboard’s Settings and Keyboards menus. The layouts arrange German keys in different ways, while the included dictionary supports German word entry and suggestions. It is intended for people who write in German through AnySoftKeyboard, rather than for use as a standalone keyboard or general-purpose app.

When used with AnySoftKeyboard, the pack works within a keyboard that offers swipe input, voice input, emojis, compact modes, and customizable themes including dark mode. AnySoftKeyboard supports more than 50 languages through external packages that provide additional keyboards and dictionaries, allowing this German pack to accompany other languages on the same device. Its suggestions and next-word predictions can learn from typing, while private typing can disable tracking and word learning. A battery-friendly mode can also turn off heavier features to reduce power use.

German for AnySoftKeyboard runs on Android 5.0 or later and uses a universal architecture. It is released under an open-source license that makes its source available. The current version is 5.1.6158, and the package is an add-on language pack rather than a separately modified edition of the keyboard. Because its layouts are selected inside AnySoftKeyboard, it is used as part of that input application on an Android device.
