Use GlobalToken to participate in the GLT network, send routine transactions, or mine cryptocurrency from a Linux command line. It connects to a peer-to-peer system where transaction processing and the creation of currency are managed collectively instead of by a central authority. Maintained by the GlobalToken Team and founded in 2016, it serves miners, network participants, and people who use GLT for everyday payments.

The proof-of-work network supports 60 mining algorithms, allowing miners to choose among many approaches and helping improve transaction speed while lowering transaction costs. After installation, the globaltoken.cli and globaltoken.daemon commands provide command-line access to the software’s functions. Users can also operate masternodes to contribute to the network, with 50,000 GLT required for that role. The project maintains an official mining pool covering all 60 algorithms at gltminer.com, designed to support the network across seven continents and reduce connection latency.

GlobalToken is open-source and runs on Linux with snapd on x86_64 (amd64) systems. Version 3.2.1 is intended for users who want the project’s own network software, mining capabilities, masternode participation, and command-line transaction tools.
