Janitor: Interactive Stories2.4.0

Choose a genre, enter a character chat, and steer an AI story through your replies and choices as its next events take shape. Janitor: Interactive Stories lets readers participate in fiction instead of passively following a fixed narrative, with romance, romantasy, fantasy, and fanfiction among its central areas. Conversations with story characters make the direction of a scene depend on the interaction.

Readers can browse for a story or other content, open its chat, and follow the developing narrative from there. Writers can build worlds and scenarios involving relationships, adventures, original settings, and fan-created fiction. The community also includes LGBTQ+ themes alongside original worlds, romance, fantasy, and fanfiction.

Android users interested in interactive reading or developing story ideas can use it as readers, writers, or both. Version 2.4.0 adds lorebooks and advanced scripts, giving creators more ways to organize world information and control story behavior. Web links now open the correct screen with its page state, while notification taps take users to the intended chat. Bug fixes and performance improvements complete the update.

It is free to use, with a paid version offering additional features. This release is described as beta software, so bugs may still occur and user feedback contributes to continued improvement.
