JNordVPN Manager lets Linux users control NordVPN connections through a desktop interface instead of entering native nordvpn commands. Its server-and-city tree organizes available servers and supports filtering by country or city, making a particular location easier to find.

The connection controls cover logging in, logging out, connecting, disconnecting, and pausing the current session. Recent connections are saved in the application so a previously used connection can be selected again for reconnection.

A world map offers a second way to browse servers and marks which server is currently active. Built with Java, the program acts as a graphical front end to the native NordVPN service and does not retain account or password information.

JNordVPN Manager 2026.2.1 is freeware for Linux on amd64 systems, with snapd required. On snap-based Linux installations, it may initially open in a mode marked with an “(install)” icon, which creates a desktop file in the local desktop folder for launching the program; in that mode, the software’s license is currently shown as unknown.
