About

Key Rack lets you open the secrets that applications have stored and inspect their contents directly. It can display passwords, access tokens, and other sensitive values, then lets you create new entries or edit existing ones. This gives you a single place to correct an outdated password, update a token, or examine a saved secret without switching between the applications that use it.

The program works with both Flatpak secrets and system-wide keyrings, covering application-managed storage as well as credentials shared across the system. Its editing functions are useful when developing or testing software that reads keyring data, and when administering accounts whose secrets need occasional maintenance. It also suits desktop users who need to check or revise an application’s stored credentials.

Key Rack runs on Linux and is open-source software. It works with secrets held by the oo7 keyring daemon on the host, and version 0.6.0 fixes a crash that could occur in that setup. The result is a focused keyring browser and editor for people who need direct visibility into passwords and tokens saved by their applications.

Requires Linux + Flatpak · Architecture: x86_64, aarch64
