lemon-zest0.0.6

Select a specific region in an image, describe the change you want, and let lemon-zest apply that edit within the chosen boundaries. The edited area is blended with nearby image content so the adjustment fits the surrounding picture instead of appearing as an isolated replacement. This selection-first workflow is designed for localized corrections and alterations rather than broad changes applied across an entire image.

Its AI-powered editing uses a local Lemonade Server to process the requested modification. That combination suits image-editing and graphics-design work where one object, detail, or portion of a composition needs focused attention. Users can therefore work on individual image regions while retaining the surrounding imagery as visual context for the result.

Developed by Drew VanDine, lemon-zest is open-source software for Linux and requires snapd. The current release is v0.0.6 and supports x86_64 (amd64) architecture. It is intended for Linux users who need controlled, region-specific image adjustments, particularly when the boundary between an edited area and the rest of the image must blend naturally.
