Let Me Downgrade1.1.0

Let Me Downgrade lets you install an older version of an Android app when a newer release is already present, bypassing Android’s usual downgrade restriction. It is an Xposed module that changes how the system handles these version changes on Android 12 through Android 17. The Status screen reports whether downgrades are currently permitted and includes a switch for enabling or disabling the downgrade hook.

An optional App Downgrades Quick Settings tile provides the same control from the system panel and stays synchronized with the switch in the app. It is aimed at rooted-device users who need to test, restore, or otherwise run an earlier app release despite Android’s normal installation rules. The device must use Magisk or KernelSU for root access and have Xposed installed through an LSPosed build supporting API 101.

Setup requires installing LSPosed and the module, activating the module in the LSPosed interface, rebooting the device, and then opening Let Me Downgrade from the launcher. It requires Android 12 or newer and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures; other Xposed variants will not work. Version 1.1.0 updates the module to LSPosed API 101, so an API 101-compatible LSPosed build is required and API 100-only frameworks are incompatible.

Let Me Downgrade is open-source and belongs to the Android System Tools category. Compatibility cannot be guaranteed on every device, and an incorrect or incompatible setup can cause a bootloop, so use carries the owner’s risk.
